Senior Professionals & Leaders
Senior roles carry identity, reputation, and responsibility. When change comes – through redundancy, restructuring, or a growing sense that it’s time – the challenge is rarely capability. It’s positioning: knowing how to present years of experience to a market that has changed, discreetly, without oversharing or underselling.

The challenge –
Career change is complex at any stage. Senior roles carry identity, responsibility, and reputation. When change comes through redundancy, restructuring, or the desire to move on, the question is rarely “Can I do the job?”
It is “What next – and how do I position this properly?”
At the same time, early-career professionals face a different challenge: entering a crowded, AI-shaped market without clarity, structure, or anyone who has been on the other side of a hiring desk telling them what actually matters.
In both cases, progress stalls not because of ability, but because the right perspective and mentoring are missing.
People need more than advice at these moments. They need perspective, structure, and experienced mentoring.
Right Matters was built for this – combining real recruitment experience with structured coaching to help professionals move forward with intent, not drift.
Who this is for –
Right Matters supports professionals at every career stage. The approach is always one-to-one – never group sessions, templates, or portals.
Entering a competitive, AI-shaped market without clarity, direction, or someone who has actually sat in a hiring seat.
First role · Strategy · Confidence
Capable and experienced, but seeking progression, sector change, or a new direction – without clarity on where to start.
Career change · Repositioning · Momentum
Navigating transition, redundancy, or a growing sense that it’s time to move – and not knowing how to approach the market discreetly.
Senior transition · Board level · Discreet
Individuals supported by their organisation following redundancy or restructuring – premium, one-to-one support, not a workshop.
Outplacement · HR-funded · All levels
The Approach –
Right Matters combines two distinct disciplines. Coaching helps clarify thinking, priorities and direction. Mentoring brings perspective grounded in over 20 years of real UK recruitment and hiring experience.
This is not motivational coaching or generic career advice. Every session is one-to-one, focused, and tailored to where you actually are – not a generic programme built for a different person’s situation.
Support is equally applicable whether self-funded or employer-funded. All sessions are confidential.
Career mentoring informed by how hiring decisions are actually made – from the other side of the table.
A no-obligation call to understand your situation and whether this is the right support for you. No pressure. No commitment.
Explore where you are, what you want from your career, and what's genuinely standing in the way.
A coaching and mentoring plan built around your career stage, situation, and specific goals.
Focused, confidential sessions with honest feedback and real accountability at each stage.
Support is shaped around the individual. The following areas are covered as relevant – not delivered as a fixed package.

Structured mentoring to help you move from where you are to where you want to be - with clarity and confidence.

Helping you articulate your experience and value in a way that resonates - for the right audience, at the right level.

Honest, structured check-ins during periods of uncertainty. Someone who tells you what you need to hear, not what's easy to say.

Reviewed and improved from a recruiter's perspective - not a template exercise, but an honest assessment of what works.

A focused, informed approach to the market - understanding where to look, how to approach it, and how to avoid common mistakes.

Practical preparation for senior and specialist interviews — including behavioural, competency, and panel formats.

For graduates and early career professionals who need honest guidance on how recruitment works and how to stand out.
Redundancy is one of the most significant events in a person’s working life. When it is handled well – with real support, not just a letter and a number to call – it reflects positively on your organisation, protects your employer brand, and gives your people a genuine chance to move forward.
Right Matters provides employer-funded career transition and outplacement support for organisations following restructuring, role change, or organisational exit. This is delivered independently of Invitise’s recruitment services – there is no conflict of interest.

Right Matters is led by Fahim Rashid, a recruitment professional with over 20 years’ experience working across the UK public and private sectors – including senior professionals, leaders, and executives navigating change at board and departmental level.
Right Matters was created because capable people were struggling to navigate the job market – not through lack of ability, but through lack of the right perspective, structure, and honest guidance.
It operates as an independent initiative of Invitise Ltd, a specialist recruitment and talent management agency. Outplacement support is delivered separately from recruitment activity.

After many years in a senior role, I found myself needing to reassess my direction following organisational change. The mentoring was calm, structured, and grounded in real understanding of how senior hiring decisions are made. It helped me clarify my position, articulate my value properly, and approach the next stage of my career with confidence and perspective.

I was technically capable but struggling to position myself clearly in the market. The mentoring helped me step back, improve how I presented my experience, and approach roles more strategically. The guidance was practical and honest - not generic. It made a real difference to how confident I felt engaging with employers.

I felt stuck and unsure where to start after graduating. The mentoring gave me structure, clarity, and realistic advice about how recruitment actually works. It helped me build confidence and approach applications properly rather than feeling overwhelmed by a process I didn't really understand.
